Giti Tire operates world class manufacturing plants in China, Indonesia, and the United States vertically integrated into strategic raw materials to mitigate supply risk and quality control which also covers quality services for customers. Giti’s roots go back to production of bicycle tires and inner tubes in Indonesia

Technical assistance agreement was signed with Japanese company to produce motorcycle tires

The name ‘Giti Tire’ was established with development of a full passenger car and light truck tire factory in Anhui, China

Giti Tire Fujian was established, and the company earned ISO 9002 and TUV international quality certifications

Giti announces plans for $560 million manufacturing facility in South Carolina, USA

Giti Tire (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was established, and the Giti brand commercial truck and bus tires made its debut in Southeast Asia region; Giti won 1st place in the highly competitive 12 Hours Sepang race

Company establishes Indonesia’s largest and most advanced proving ground; Giti was showcased prominently at the Essen Show in Germany; Giti debuted its commercial truck racing tires in Australia; Giti was awarded Hardlines Supplier and Automotive Supplier of the Year by Walmart USA

Opened USA manufacturing facility in South Carolina; Established Middle East office in Dubai, U.A.E.; Giti made its 24 Hours Nurburging racing debut, placing an impressive 2nd in its SP8 class.

U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) admits Giti as its newest member; Giti earns first US-made OEM partnership; Motorsports grows with new Formula 3 Asian Series and Europe BTRA truck racing partnerships

2019

Giti’s Audi R8 duo conquers 1st and 2nd in its SP8 class; the company’s ‘Girls Only’ racing team of all female drivers, coach, and crew made history as the first such racing team ever to win its class in international competition (VLN Germany, Oct 2019)
